When I embarked on the Month of Mono at the start of December I was hoping for snow and can you imagine my excitement as the forecast slowly turned from rain to snow. You see snow is very much the photographers friend as it gives light in places of dark shadow and adds texture to an otherwise flat landscape this is more important when you remove the colour from a photograph. Plus I am just a 13 year old trapped in a fat middle aged man`s body and the thought of playing in the snow was too much for me to resist especially when you couple that with howling winds and blizzard conditions some 690m up in the welsh hills. So you join me at Gospel Pass heading up Twmpa with Hay Bluff ultimatley rescuing the session
