Sometimes as a landscape photographer you have to get into the soul of your subject to really understand and connect.  Sometimes like the sirens of greek mythology the hills call you into danger, intoxicated by the prospect of unimaginable beauty you find yourself drawn helplessly deeper and deeper.  I introduced you all to the Ridge Creeper that was spotted during the filming of Factory Reset Mr Mojo Risin  . Its conditions that take many by surprise and very often cause serious problems as this report of a man lost alone on top of Waun Fach until 2am so vividly shows and the courage and selflessness of the volunteers of  Longtown Mountain Rescue. So where does your intrepid landscape photographer choose to go in the dark and on purpose yep you all guessed it into “The Belly of the Beast”.
